Yeah, that's the bottleneck there. Of course the larger caliper rotor will be able to grip better, but it won't be able to give you any more stopping force since the tires easily break loose even with the stock system. So making a brake system that applies twice the force really doesn't do much good since the tire can't handle it. Its main benefit will come from heat dissipation.
